I saw a book called TRASH, edited by John Knechtel (MIT Press)

Would have bought it, but the book fair closed before I had a chance.

Try to find it if you can---or at least see if you can read a review of it.

Check out the Allworth Press website---hundreds of books on design topics that you may not have seen. Many of these maybe in library or on Orbis. good luck.
